SLEDGE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: vehicle on runners. SUBSTANCE: design peculiarity of said sledge is runners made of T-shaped section bent at one end face part to curve. Each half of horizontal web in bent elements of end face part is bent to vertical, being drop-shaped in section. Vertical U-shaped posts are made of plates, being connected by longitudinal members. Incision is made at curved parts of runners end face at one side on which cross member is mounted. A- shaped plate frame is mounted inside each vertical U-shaped post corresponding to width of U-shaped post and butt-jointed by ends with T- shaped section of runners with vertical web. All surface of runners in contact with snow is polished. Invention is aimed at improved stability of sledge and reducing its front resistance when moving along snow of high compactness. EFFECT: improved rigidity and strength of sledge. 5 dwg
