FIELD: devices for mounting tool in machine tool with possibility of deflection relative to spindle axis. SUBSTANCE: chuck includes housing, tool holder and trunnion arranged between them. Lateral surface of trunnion transmitting torque is polyhedral one. End surfaces of trunnion transmit axial loads, they are spherical ones and have diameter equal to length of trunnion. One end surface of trunnion engages with flat surface of plug arranged in housing with possibility of axial readjustment; other end of trunnion engages with flat surface of tool holder and it is arranged in polyhedral opening of disc. The last is mounted between tool holder and limit ring arranged with gaps relative to spring-loaded housing. Said gaps restrict maximum value of tool deflection. EFFECT: simplified design of chuck, its enhanced functional possibilities. 1 dwg
