FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to internal combustion carburized engines with spark ignition system and supply with homogeneous and optimum leaned fuel gas. Said engine contains fuel gas generator installed additionally to main supply system (carburetor, injection system) being connected to intake manifold in parallel to form common complex. Fuel gas generator supplies fuel gas of optimum content into behind-the-throttle space of engine intake manifold both, at low loads with carburetor cut off, and at high loads. At high loads main fuel system (carburetor, injection system is connected to fuel gas generator to feed, in additional to fuel gas, carburized mixture, summary content of both mixtures being adjusted by electronic control unit of fuel gas generator according to algorithm in memory providing minimum specific fuel consumption and minimum content CO, CH and NOx at all duties. Moment of connection of main system to fuel gas generator is chosen experimentally at opening of throttle of fuel gas generator by 50%. EFFECT: improved combustion of fuel. 5 cl, 2 dwg
