FIELD: blast technologies. SUBSTANCE: proposed detonator can be used in composition of explosive systems for initiation of explosive discharges or any other explosive devices. Detonator without primary explosives has hollow shell with main charge of secondary explosive installed in one end of shell and with ignition aid placed in its opposite end and initiation element made of modified secondary explosive. Detonator is equipped with additional explosive charge enveloping initiation element and arranged between main charge and ignition aid which comes in the form of shock-wave tube embraced by shock- absorbing element made of elasto-plastic material contacting initiation element with face and internal wall of hollow shell with side surface. Temperature of ignition or decomposition of modified secondary explosive of initiation element exceeds temperature of ignition or decomposition of secondary explosive of additional charge. EFFECT: increased safety of detonator under mechanical action on it and under high- temperature of fire. 1 dwg
