FIELD: antenna engineering; communication equipment in the form of low-profile and broadband radiators mainly for mobile objects. SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in stripline antenna array that has N≥3 strip radiators made in the form of plate members with one edge shorted out through base and supplied with power from common coaxial-stripline adapter through strip conductor is additional metal base disposed between plane of plate members and base made in the form of N ribbon conductors partially disposed in plane parallel to base under strip conductors and partially under plate members. Ribbon conductors are shorted out through base on one end and connected to external conductor of coaxial section of coaxial-to-stripline conductor on other end. In the process higher modes are excited in stripline radiators apart from low resonance mode which makes it possible to extend operating frequency band. Shorting plugs are mounted on side edges of plate members or on jumpers interconnecting side edges which enables further expansion of operating frequency band up to 1.6 : 1 coverage at antenna height not over a few hundredth parts of wavelength. EFFECT: enlarged operating frequency band; facilitated matching and frequency control. 7 cl, 2 dwg
