SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of passing metallic rod through hard-alloy plates for suspending said plates and immersing them into melt slag; placing and fixing in casting mold; then pouring melt metal to casting mold; using slag of next content (mass %): SiO2, 20-35%; MnO, 10 - 25%; CaF2, 8 - 10%; CaO, 10 - 15%; Al2O3, 4 - 6%; H3BO3, 5 - 15%; Na2B4O7, 5 - 15%; Na3(AlF)6, 8 - 10%. Cladding layer of slag formed on plates prevents oxidation of plates at metal casting, provides good wettability, increases cohesion strength of plates with metal.
