FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: dose of molten steel is poured from a volumetric meter into a casting mould. An oxygen-proof powder coating is applied to the surface of the cast molten steel. The coating has the following granulometric composition, wt %: granules with the size of 1.2±0.3 mm in the amount of 37÷43, granules of size less than 0.1 mm-the rest. Wear-resistant alloyed cast iron melt is poured over the coating.
EFFECT: increased wear resistance and durability of cast bimetallic beaters, improved technological effectiveness of their manufacturing process.
