FIELD: plastic metal working, namely apparatuses for counter type drop forging. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes arranged in housing mutually striking members in the form of levers rotating one towards another; mechanism for lifting levers and mechanism for fixing levers in their initial position and for equalizing striking rate. Mechanism for lifting levers has rods with lugs. Mechanism for equalizing striking rate of levers is in the form of two mutually engaged sector type gear wheels. Each gear wheel is mounted on rotation axle of lever and it is coupled with it by means of bolt joint. Lugs of rods have slits for providing separate return of rods to their limit lower position after lifting mutually opposite rotating levers. In limit lower position rods are forced to limiter of their motion by spring. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and operational reliability of apparatus. 4 dwg
