FIELD: drying in fluidized bed; food-processing, pharmaceutical, biochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: drier includes feed bin and drying chamber divided into sections by vertical partitions; each section is provided with gas distributing grids mounted above heat-transfer agent supply branch pipe and fitted with perforated caps received by holes of gas distributing grids. Rows of caps alternate in longitudinal and transverse directions with groups of through holes of gas distributing grids. Heat-transfer agent supply branch pipes are provided with fans and are connected with bypass systems. Drying chamber is provided with heat-transfer agent discharge system. Drier is provided with finished product compartment which is connected unloading unit. Partitions between finished product compartment and drying chamber are variable in height. Drying process of proposed drier is controllable due to forming successive zones of processing material to be processed at autonomous drying mode and due to adjustment of height of fluidized bed.
