FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves studying prognostic significant signs like somatic pathologic manifestations degree (X1),, clinical anatomic of intracranial hemorrhages (X2), deferred cerebral ischemia (X3),, intracranial hypertension (X4),, hydrocephalus (X5),, patient condition severity at surgical intervention day (X6),, surgical intervention time after intracranial hemorrhages occurrence (X7),, repeated intracranial hemorrhages (X8). Discriminant function Y is calculated from the following formula where X1, X2...X8 are characteristic sign values for a particular patient. Y≥0 value corresponds to favorable outcome, Y<0 being the case, lethal outcome is the case. Favorable outcome probability under Y≥0 is equal to 100%. Lethal outcome probability under Y<0 is equal to 72.7%. EFFECT: high reliability of prognosis. 3 tbl
