FIELD: medicine, clinical neurology, neurosurgery, neurotraumatology. SUBSTANCE: the method deals with coding prognostically valuable symptoms detected during neurological testing, calculating linear- discriminant functions corresponding to two variants in the results of craniocerebral trauma - favorable (LDF1) result and lethal result (LDF2) by the following formulas: , where X1 - age, X2 - systolic arterial pressure, X3 - consciousness, X4 - papillary innervation, X5 - oculocephalic reflex. Signs are evaluated by gradings ranged from 2 to 7. Prediction in a patient is determined by higher absolute value of linear-discriminant function. EFFECT: higher accuracy of prediction. 3 tbl
