FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves analyzing combinations of prognosis-significant signs. Discriminant function Y is calculated from formula , where X1 is the somatic pathology expression degree: 1 -no or not distinctly marked one, 2 - marked one, 3 - distinctly marked one; X2 is the clinical anatomical form of hemorrhage: 1- intracranial hematoma of up to 50 ml volume not aggravated by brain dislocation, 2 - intracranial hematoma of more than 50 ml volume aggravated by brain dislocation, X3 is the intracranial hypertension: 1 - none, 2 - not distinctly marked one, 3 - marked one, 4 - distinctly marked one; X4 is the hydrocephalia: 1 none, 2 - not distinctly marked one, 3 - distinctly marked one; X5 is the patient condition severity at the operation day: 1 - compensated one, 2 - subcompensated one, 3 - decompensated one; X6 is the operation time passed after hemorrhage: 1 - 0-3 days, 2 - 4-7 days, 3 - 8-14 days, 4 - 15-21 days, 5 more than 21 day. Y≥0, favorable outcome is to be predicted. Y<0, lethal outcome is to be predicted. EFFECT: high reliability of prediction; simplified method. 3 tbl
