FIELD: mechanical cleaning of liquids from solid particles, for example, cleaning water from faucet. SUBSTANCE: proposed filter has housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes, filter element made from elastoflexible material, for example porolon and regeneration unit made in form of spring mounted coaxially in housing. One end of spring is secured on housing and second end is free; hemisphere is secured to its end. Filter element is secured inside spring. After opening the faucet, water passes through filter element and gets cleaned from mechanical impurities. Due to velocity head exerted on hemisphere, spring stretches elongating the filter element and facilitating passage of water through it. After closing the faucet, spring compresses, thus compressing the filter element and pressing-out filtered mechanical particles together with remaining water which are drained into sink.
