INSTALLATION FOR DRAINING RESIDUES OF LOW-BOILING LIQUIDS FROM RIGID RESERVOIRS Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: systems for removing out of reservoirs remaining liquids, mainly low-boiling oil products, possibly in storehouses for fuel at preparing reservoirs for restoration or for using them with other oil products. SUBSTANCE: installation includes collecting reservoir having two vertically arranged cavities of the same volume with convex bottoms. Elastic envelope is freely arranged onto inner surface of lower cavity. Edges of envelope are fastened along line of fluid-tight joining of both cavities. Installation also includes lattice filter, splitter, flow deflector, shut-off valves, suction and delivery hoses, floating valve mounted in elastic envelope. Inner space of collecting reservoir under elastic envelope is communicated through floating and check valves with suction line of vacuum pump. EFFECT: enhanced reliability, improved operational efficiency of installation for draining residues of low boiling liquids from rigid reservoirs. 3 dwg, 3 tbl
