FIELD: manufacture of cast hard-alloy tools in metal working and mining industry branches. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of soldering-in hard alloy to preliminarily made steel envelope; using cast iron base solder for soldering; placing steel envelope in casting mold; heating up casting mold until 650 -750 C and pouring into it melt steel of tool base. Heat of poured melt additionally heats envelope until temperature not exceeding melting temperature of solder. It causes activation of mutual diffusion processes on interface surfaces of envelope and solidified steel base. EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability of tool. 1 dwg
