FIELD: mechanical engineering; metalworking and mining industry. SUBSTANCE: proposed method zone of contact of hard alloy with steel base of tool is heated for obtaining melt of iron-based alloy containing graphite inclusions in its starting structure; then tool is cooled down in still air. After hardening of iron- based alloy scheduled thermocycling of contact zone of hard alloy with steel base of tool is performed, thus obtaining compact-shape graphite in soldered seam of tool. EFFECT: facilitated procedure; enhanced economical efficiency.
