FIELD: manufacture of tools for mining and metal working industry branches.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of placing hard alloy onto inner surface of casting mold; heating hard alloy together with casting mold up to 650 -750 C while providing shield-gas medium; pouring to mold melt cast iron being in contact with hard alloy and designed for forming base of tool after crystallization; preliminarily applying layer of exothermic flux onto surface of hard alloy turned to cavity of casting mold in order to realize diffusion interaction of hard alloy and cast iron in zone of their contact.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability of joint at the same values of hardness and strength of hard alloy.
