FIELD: production of superhard materials, artificial diamonds at high pressures and temperatures developed at detonation of condensed explosives. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes forming charge of carbon- containing explosive at negative oxygen balance, surrounding this charge with cooling fluid, placing the charge in hermetic explosive chamber, initiating its detonation, extracting condensed detonation products from explosive chamber and separating ultradispersed diamonds. Used as cooling fluid is saturated solution of chemical compound containing alloying element. For preparation of saturated solution, use is made of distilled water which is heated to temperature not above melting point of explosive. EFFECT: increased concentration of alloying element in crystalline lattice of ultradispersed diamonds. 3 cl, 1 dwg
