FIELD: application of metal coats by dipping articles in aluminum or aluminum-alloy melts. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes preliminary activation of surface of article followed by dipping in aluminum or aluminum-alloy melt; activation is performed by means of flow of pointed solid particles at size of 0.3-0.5 mm and rate of delivery of 100-120 m/s, after which activation is performed by means of globular solid particles at size of 1.0-2.0 mm and rate of delivery of up to 60 m/s. Temperature of melt is maintained between 660 and 780 C. EFFECT: reduced consumption of aluminum or its alloys; enhanced corrosion resistance of coats. 2 cl
