FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for preparation of item for application of coating, or for cleaning of wire surface or round rolled metal from scale. Device contains rotation drive, hollow shaft installed on the basis with axial opening for passage of processed item and at least one working unit, device for supply and removal of washing liquid is connected to hollow shaft. Rotation drive is installed in the form of pulley that is fixed in hollow shaft, and conical gear wheels, one of which is motionlessly fixed on the basis, and the others - rotating ones - are connected with cleaning elements, hollow shaft is installed with the possibility of rotation inside motionless conical gear wheel, is equipped with facilities for installation of working unit with cleaning elements perpendicularly to the axis of hollow shaft and is installed with expansion in the middle part for elements of working unit that interact with the processed item, cleaning elements of working unit are installed with the possibility of rotational and forward movement, at that the device is equipped with cams that are fixed in the pulley with the possibility of movement during rotation of pulley around its axis under the effect of centrifugal forces in order to apply pressure on cleaning elements.
EFFECT: intensification of item surface activation and increase of cleaning efficiency in wide range of modes.
