FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in exhaust systems of internal combustion engines for reducing content of soot and other products of incomplete combustion of fuel in exhaust gases. Proposed combination soot filter has housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes and the following components arranged in housing in direction of gas flow; solid particles trap made of porous material and perforated hollow rods filled with catalyst solution and covered with filtering cloth. Solid particles trap is made in form of ball whose lower half is dipped in regenerative solution and partition is installed at "liquid- gas' boundary. EFFECT: reduced fuel consumption of internal combustion engine, prevention of reduction of effective power, increased service life of soot filter. 1 dwg
