SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in liquid cooling systems of internal combustion engines with seasonal control of opening temperature of thermostat main valve. As distinct from known design, common base member with brought out relief valve (instead of bypass valve) is to be used instead of thermostat in separate housing and engine water jacket outlet branch pipe, and heater radiator outlet branch is to be connected to thermostat housing directly in zone of location of temperature sensitive element. Invention. Invention makes it possible to provide seasonal control of opening temperature of thermostat main valve, to increase amount of heat delivered from engine into heater radiator in winter.
