FIELD: medicine, in particular, physiotherapy. SUBSTANCE: pulse fluctuating stimulation is effected. In addition monitoring rheography is conducted, and rheographic indices are estimated. If in the process of the procedure the rheographic index P2 increases up to 0.060 Ohm and higher, the exposition of pulse fluctuating stimulation (PFS) signals is increased by 10-30%, and the procedure is continued up to 20 min. If P2 decreases down to 0.30 Ohm and lower, the exposition of the PFS signals is decreased by 10-30%, and the procedure is continued in 5-10 min. The device for treatment of patients affected by chronic prostatic has a source of low-frequency current for pulse fluctuating stimulation (PFS), connecting cable to the output of the PFS apparatus and rectal electrode unit containing two electrodes. In addition it has a rheograph and a two-pole selector switch. The electrodes of the electrode unit are connected to the input of the two-pole selector switch, whose first output is connected to the output of the PFS apparatus. The second output is connected to the rheograph input. EFFECT: optimized parameters of influence due to combination of diagnostic and treatment procedures. 2 cl, 1 ex, 2 dwg
