FIELD: metallurgy of mixed-alloy steels; nuclear energy; manufacture of inside-reactor equipment. SUBSTANCE: steel possesses enhanced long-term strength and radiation resistance at temperature of 300-450 C and lower tendency to local failure of metal of near-seam zone after holding at heat and parent metal after cold deformation followed by holding at heat. Proposed steel contains the following components, mass-%: carbon, 0.005-0.04; silicon, 2.2-2.8; manganese, 0.5-1.0; chromium, 14.0-15.5; molybdenum, 0.8-1.2; titanium, 0.08-0.20, the remainder being iron. Ratio of total content of nickel and manganese to total content of silicon and chromium shall be equal to exceed 0.65 (Ni + Mn/Si + Cr) ≥ 0.65. EFFECT: enhanced long-term strength of steel. 2 tbl
