FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: method involves manufacturing nonwoven material from plurality of single filaments, which are stretched within the range of 50-70% of its maximal elasticity and laid into yarn; processing basic nonwoven material for increasing its fluffiness by means of second pair of rolls having metallic outer surfaces. Positive members of positive roll are made in the form of protrusions arranged in rows, and surface of negative roll is provided with axially extending plates defining slots between said plates. When rolls are rolled on one another, plates come into engagement with slots free from protrusions, with nonwoven material being retained on rolls outer edges and being stretched immediately nearby. EFFECT: increased bulkiness of nonwoven material, which had been preliminarily stretched and had partly bound filaments and threads. 25 cl, 4 dwg
