FIELD: underwater development of mineral wealth. SUBSTANCE: installation has track-laying dolly, actuating unit in the form of drum-ripper with cutting tools, suction nozzle and drive that presents tubular multiple-runner hydraulic turbine located in drum-ripper. Installation is fitted with plain bearings put on ends of hollow shaft, bearings have through feeding conduits on one end and discharging conduits on the other end, cover with holes, coaxial feeding and discharging conduits and pivots. Stages of stator of hydraulic turbine are anchored on hollow shaft and stages of rotor are fixed on body of drum-ripper suspended from two levers. Average diameter of grate of blades is by order of magnitude greater than height of their installation. Angles of inlet and outlet in stator of hydraulic turbine are β1s = 85°-95° and α1 = 75°-80° correspondingly and in rotor β1r = 45°-51° and β2r = 25°-32° correspondingly.
