FIELD: woodworking and food industries. SUBSTANCE: method designed for drying timber and products of vegetable and animal nature involves drying of timber, fish, meat, cherry, carrot, and the like by exposing them to electromagnetic field of extremely low or superlow frequency band, or to electromagnetic field amplitude-modulated by waves of extremely low or superlow frequency band, or to electric field frequency-modulated by waves of extremely low or superlow frequency band, or to electric field phase-modulated by waves of extremely low or superlow frequency band; carrier frequency for all kinds of modulated electromagnetic field may be from 30 to 1013 Hz and intensity of each of mentioned fields is 10-1400 A/m; exposure time is 10-900 minutes.
