FIELD: thermal and nuclear power engineering; reconditioning steam generators and other equipment by chemical rinsing. SUBSTANCE: method includes sequential rinsing of working surfaces in steam-water space of steam generator with aqueous solutions in three stages while stirring them; in the process use is made of ammonia solution of ammonium salt of weak organic acid and hydrogen peroxide, their concentration being 5-10 and 1-5 g/l, respectively, during first and second stages; solution of ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid; ammonium salt of weak organic acid and hydrazine at proportion of components by weight being 1:0.65:0.1, respectively, is used during second stage. Proposed rinsing solutions are distinguished by high concentration with pH = 4-5. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of extracting iron and copper from in-service formed deposits and their transfer to solution. 4 cl, 7 tbl
