METHOD OF TIMELY DETERMINATION OF STRENGTH OF AQUEOUS- ALCOHOL SOLUTION Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: content of ethyl alcohol in water in any proportion is determined in process of preparation, transportation and storage of product in large masses with sampling or without sampling. Invention can be used in any spheres of consumption of aqueous-alcohol solutions. According to method dielectric permittivity ε_2,t of aqueous-alcohol solution is measured at given temperature t ( in range from 0 to 40 C ) and strength of product is found by empirical formula. Technical result of method consists in considerable reduction of time of analysis, in elimination of subjective errors, in possibility of early diagnostics of change of quality of vodka and in timely correction of this change even without sampling in process of preparation, distribution and consumption ( trade ) of solutions. It can be employed by control bodies. EFFECT: simplified and reliable method of timely determination of strength of aqueous-alcohol solutions. 1 tbl
