FIELD: control and recording of vehicles. SUBSTANCE: one ore more television cameras are installed on vehicle. Video frames received from cameras are quantized and recorded on data medium. Proposed method is distinguished from prior art in that camera polling rate for taking frames and recording them in memory device is selected to be equal to reciprocal of absolute error for determining averaged time of vehicle driver's response to traffic accident. Data medium is represented by solid-state memory device. When traffic accident occurs, situation on road and vehicle status line are memorized. When analyzing causes of traffic accident information is read out of memory device and accurate account of traffic accident is displayed. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 8 cl
