FIELD: food industry, particularly, methods of medicinal herbs processing with preparation from them of biologically active additives in the form of pastes. SUBSTANCE: proposed are methods of medicinal herbs processing including extraction. Nettle powder with particles dispersity of 200-400 mcm is used as raw material in extraction. Simultaneously with extraction, grinding of nettle powder is conducted up to particles size of 20-30 mcm. Extraction process is carried out by 96-deg ethyl alcohol (ratio of powder : alcohol is 1:2.0-1:2.5) at temperature of 25-30 C for 12-16 min. Extraction of nettle powder may be conducted by sunflower-seed oil (ratio of powder : oil is 1:2.0-1:2.5) at temperature of 70-80 C for 30-35 min. It is possible combined extraction of raw material with 96-deg ethyl alcohol and sunflower-seed oil (ratio of powder:alcohol:oil is 1:1.2.1.2-1:1.5:1.5) at temperature of 40-50 C for 20-25 min without phases separation.
