FIELD: magnetic pulse treatment of metals, possibly in machine engineering for making axially symmetrical envelopes of tubular blanks. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes working winding and ferromagnetic circuit. Winding may be placed outside treated blank. Ferromagnetic circuit is made in such a way that one of its members is arranged inside treated blank. Ferromagnetic circuit may be closed О =-shaped or = Ф - shaped. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of magnetic-pulse deformation of blanks, predetermined deformation value achieved at lowered energy consumption. 3 cl, 3 dwg
