FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cold sheet forging, particularly, to shaping of thin-wall axially symmetric shells and can be used for production of large-size thin-wall truncated cone-shape parts at dual-action presses. Top and bottom resilient elements are arranged in the area of contact and composed of variable-depth conical shell to create equal friction forces directed toward each other.
EFFECT: higher quality owing to ruled out faceting and gage interference.
