METHOD FOR MANUFACTURE OF PARQUET Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: building industry. SUBSTANCE: piece parquet is manufactured from the raw waste lumber and thin-measured wood. Preliminarily cylindered blanks are impregnated with a mixture of latex and a solution of soya, dried, cylindered to the rated size with milling in thirds of the blank circumference into six similarly concaved and convexed segments with a subsequent cutting of parquet planks at an acute angle to the wood fibres. Use of milling of round blanks in thirds of the circumference makes it possible to obtain compatible parquet planks from round lumber. Latex protects the parquet planks from moisture absorption, and the salt crystals bind part of the moisture penetrating in the wood from air. EFFECT: enhanced shape stability of parquet at fluctuations of humidity in the room. 3 dwg
