METHOD FOR PRODUCTION OF PARQUET SHIELDS Russian patent published in 1997 - IPC

FIELD: construction industry. SUBSTANCE: method is suitable for production of end-face parquet shields, wall and door panels, furniture boards. It implies forming small-size wooden blanks into a package within a continuous frame of height which is several times larger than height of end-face strips, impregnation of package with glue compound under pressure, glueing of blanks to each other within package, sawing of package in lateral direction into several end-face strips and formation of parquet shields with end-face frontal layer. In realizing this method, continuous frame is used for compaction of package made up of small-size blanks, pouring glue and impregnation of package and also for strengthening of parquet shields and for this purpose sawing is performed without removing frame from package.
