FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention reveals the method for preparation of sodium carbonate crystals including the addition of the solid sodium carbonate to the water solution containing sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate; crystallisation and separation of the sodium sesquicarbonate crystals; crystallisation of sodium carbonate crystals. The control of sodium carbonate added amount provides the surpassing of sesquicarbonate solubility which allows to implement the crystallisation of sesquicarbonate crystals without preliminary evaporation of water suspension. The amount of sodium carbonate added to the water solution provides the sodium carbonate content in the obtained water suspension in the range from 31 to 37 wt %, preferentially from 33 to 36 wt %. The claimed method allows sodium carbonate obtaining from the sodium sesquicarbonate containing ore without evaporation of water solution from which the sodium sesquicarbonate is crystallised.
EFFECT: obtaining of sodium carbonate from the sodium sesquicarbonate containing ore without evaporation of water solution from which the sodium sesquicarbonate is crystallised.
