COMPOSITE FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEM FOR DIESEL ENGINE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fuel injection systems of diesel engines. Proposed composite fuel supply system has fuel devices to supply first and second components of composite fuel connected to injector and spray tip installed on its body, channels in body and spray tip feed first and second components of composite fuel, two pockets, space of one of the pockets being made in middle part of spray tip and communicating with channels to supply first component of composite and through ring channel between spray tip and needle valve, with space of other pocket made in lower part of spray tip and communicating with channels to supply second component of composite fuel and, by means of needle valve, with orifices. System is provided also with delivery check valves installed in corresponding supply lines of first and second components of composite fuel. At least one of check valves in one of composite fuel components supply lines installed at injector inlet is furnished with hydraulic line connecting inlet of check valve with its outlet by means of control member installed in hydraulic line. Additional chamber is connected to outlet of check valve furnished with hydraulic line by means of control member. Inner space of additional chamber is provided with spring-loaded piston. EFFECT: enlarged possibility of control of content of composite fuel delivered into combustion chamber of dual fuel diesel engine in operation. 3 cl, 4 dwg
