FIELD: magnetometric equipment of spacecraft and other objects. SUBSTANCE: invention is related to facilities shielding magnetometers from internal magnetic fields of objects where magnetometers are installed. Facility incorporates source of internal magnetic fields of spacecraft, for instance, three orthogonal predominantly superconducting electromagnets, geomagnetic torque motors, two magnetometers housed in internal spaces of two hemispheric superconducting magnetic shields made of films of high-temperature superconducting materials applied to aluminum substrates placed in hemispheric cryostats fabricated from non-magnetic materials with cooling conduits with inlet and outlet collectors coupled by means of heat-insulated pipe-lines to cryogenic-refrigerating plant. Two hemispheric cryostats are attached with the aid of fastening frames to opposite faces of spacecraft and magnetometers are anchored on centers of bases of cryostat hemispheres. Invention makes it feasible to diminish negative effect of internal sources of magnetic fields in objects on measurement precision of external magnetic fields by magnetometer, for example, geomagnetic fields, by way of growth of value of the latter in zone of location of magnetometers, to raise shielding properties of magnetic shields by reduction of their shielding coefficients to minimal possible value practically equal to zero and to reduce system mass of magnetic shields. EFFECT: diminished negative effect of internal sources of magnetic fields on measurement precision of external magnetic fields. 2 cl, 4 dwg
