FIELD: magnetometric equipment of spacecraft and other objects. SUBSTANCE: facility is designed to shield magnetometers from internal magnetic fields of objects where magnetometers are installed. Facility incorporates source of internal magnetic fields of spacecraft, for example, three orthogonal electromagnets of geomagnetic torque motor, magnetometers placed in internal spaces of two hemispheric ferromagnetic shields made of material with high magnetic permeability. Shields are attached with the aid of fastening frames to opposite faces of spacecraft with vertexes of their hemispheres which are produced stratified and include several ferromagnetic hemispheres put one into another and separated by layers of non-magnetic material, for example, plastic material or polyethylene film to improve their shielding properties and to reduce their masses. Invention makes it possible to diminish negative effect of internal sources of magnetic fields of spacecraft and other objects on measurement precision of magnetometers measuring external magnetic fields, for instance, geomagnetic fields, by way of rise of their values in zone of magnetometers, to raise shielding properties of ferromagnetic shields by reduction of their shielding coefficients by several orders of magnitude and to decrease mass of ferromagnetic shields. EFFECT: diminished negative effect of sources of internal magnetic fields on measurement precision of magnetometers measuring external magnetic fields. 3 cl, 6 dwg
