FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: seeding unit has hopper, discharge window formed in hopper bottom and adapted for feeding seeds to shank. Cellular seeding disk with baffle and ejector is positioned in hopper above bottom. Groups of cells are formed on peripheral part of rotating cellular disk in radial planes at equal angular pitch with respect to one another. Each cell is sized and configured to conform to size and shape of seed. Cells in each group of cells are separated by arced guides. Disk is fixed in hopper by annular stop and is made replaceable. Ejector for ejecting seeds from cells is positioned above discharge window and is connected through spring-loaded carrier with baffle body. Baffle body is equipped with orienting fingers connected to said body through carriers of different size for orienting seeds into groups. Seeding unit of such construction may be used in single seed drill. EFFECT: increased efficiency and enhanced reliability in seeding cucurbitaceous crops. 2 cl, 3 dwg
