DEVICE FOR APPLYING OPHTHALMOLOGICAL LASER THERAPY Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves two optical units 1 and 1' having two laser radiator 2 units each, having forming optical system 3 for making transscleral laser radiation treatment applicable to corresponding zone of prelimbic eye area. Each optical unit 1 (1') has luminous photodiode source 4 for building luminous label in patient vision field for fixing patient sight in reference direction 5 (5') in course of laser radiation therapy session. To measure corresponding angle change between reference directions 5 and 5', optical units 1 and 1' are mounted on platforms 6 allowing rotation about the corresponding axes in azimuth plane and fixation in selected position. Platforms 6 are mounted on guide member 7 allowing longitudinal displacement in direction transverse to optical unit axis for coordinating positions of optical units 1 and 1' and patient vision axes positions and fixing optical units 1 and 1' in selected position. Platforms 6 mounted on guide member 7 make up adjustment mechanism of the device. The device also has power supply source and control unit connected to luminous source 4 and laser radiators 2 of optical units 1 and 1' and having timer unit.
