SUBSTANCE: catalyst used in production of hydrogen/carbon monoxide mixture through catalytic conversion of hydrocarbons in presence of oxygen-containing gases and/or water steam is a complex composite containing mixed oxides with perofskite and fluorite structure and transition and/or precious metals, which additionally contains components with low thermal expansion coefficient. Invention describes catalytic conversion of mixture containing hydrocarbon and/or hydrocarbon mixture and air or carbon dioxide, or water steam, or their mixture, and optionally sulfur-containing compounds.
