SUBSTANCE: method for determining interroll gap at tuning rolling stand according to necessary thickness of strip at outlet of stand, to rolling effort, rigidity modulus of stand, thickness value of oil wedges in liquid friction bearings of rolls and to sizing effort comprises steps of determining said gap differentially depending upon preliminary loading of stand; determining initial interroll gap while taking into account length of non-linear portion of elastic deformation curve of rolling stand, separate deformation of stand without strip and with rolled strip.
