FIELD: ferrous metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: method involves melting steel; providing continuous pouring; hot rolling; preparing for cold rolling; first cold rolling; decarburizing annealing; second cold rolling on reversible quatro mill; degreasing; applying protective coating; high-temperature annealing; applying electrically insulating coating and flattening high-temperature annealing. Second cold rolling process is carried out by at least two passes, with rolling during first pass being carried out to provide for thickness of h1, determined from ratio: h1 = (1,0÷1,2)×Do×10-3 (mm), where Do is diameter of operating rolls of quatro mill (mm), which is 300-600 mm. Method allows anisotropic electric sheet steel having thickness not in the excess of 0.30 mm to be produced. Such steel may be used for manufacture of large-sized magnetic circuits with low power losses for magnetic reversal. EFFECT: increased quality and improved electromagnetic properties of anisotropic sheet steel. 2 cl, 1 tbl, 1 ex
