FIELD: railway transport; permanent way. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices designed for fastening rails on reinforced concrete ties. proposed embedded unit of reinforced concrete tie contains first and second hollow inserts made for connection through flanges in contact with each other. Embedded member with hole to pass fastening bolt is fixed between insert. First insert is made in form of rectangular truncated pyramid with corresponding channel to pass fastening bolt and opposite thrust projections enclosing projections of embedded member. Flange of first insert is provided with ribs over perimeter to enclose flange of second insert. Sides of flanges are made convex, and flange of second insert is provided with tilted ribs over perimeter being directed from embedded member to end face of insert to get with interference into flange of second insert. EFFECT: improved electric insulation of embedded member and manufacturability of embedded unit. 9 cl, 3 dwg
