FIELD: recycling of tyres. SUBSTANCE: invention provides possibility of using worn-out tyres in construction and road building to form road bases. According to proposed method, motor tyres placed one onto the other and, as stack grows, holes are drilled in tyres by jig through which hollow rods of perforators are passed by means of conical end pieces. Perforator hollow rods accommodate upset fasteners-rubber rods-joiners, whose diameter is greater than diameter of holes in motor tyres. In motion, rods of perforators force out rods-joiners from spaces of perforator rods pushing out conical end pieces, and free ends of rods-joiners projecting over surfaces of motor tyres form rivet heads. At reverse stroke of perforator rods remaining part of length of rods-joiners is pushed out of perforator rod channels and form rivet head on other ends of rods-joiners. Non-split joint of motor tyres can be formed by rods-joiners made of elastic material whose durability is comparable with durability of motor tyre material. Rods-joiners can be provided with central channels. Short spreaders-cores are driven into sections of channels projecting from motor tyre bodies to form rivet heads of increased size. Diameter and number of rods-joiners can be found basing on required strength of joints to overcome external separating forces. Device for stacking motor tyres and interconnecting adjacent stacks contains several perforators-joiners located over perimeter of motor tyres of assembled stack or one perforator-joiner mounted on load-bearing clamp and provided with pneumatic, hydraulic or mechanical power system, hollow rods with charging ports for blanks of rods-joiners provided with pistons with rods fitted in variable-diameter inner channel of perforator rods to upset blanks of rods-joiners shifted along channel, and conical end pieces expanding the holes in motor tyres when hollow rods of perforators with upset blanks of rods-joiners are pulled through holes to form non-split joint of motor tyres by means of said rods-joiners after bringing out perforator rods. EFFECT: enlarged tyres of recycling of worn-out tyres, simple design and processing, increased service life of structural members. 5 cl, 29 dwg
