PLASTIC HYDRAULIC GATE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

FIELD: sanitary engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to design of plastic hydraulic gate installed in discharge hole of bath, washer, wash-stand. Proposed gate includes inlet and outlet branch pipes, bent hose with corrugated sections alternating over length with smooth-walled sections, spacing sleeve and clamp. Hose has axial line in the form of Euler's rubber satisfying relations A/L=0,3...0,6; θ = 70...105^°;; h/H= 0,3...0,5, where A is distance between ends of arc of corrugated section; L is length of arc; θ is angle included between tangent to arc axis and distance between ends of arc; H is height of corrugation; d is distance between axes of holes and center of corrugation; h is thickness of corrugation wall. Smooth-walled sections of hose are interjoined by means of clamp, smooth-walled sections of hose going out of clamp and 3-4 corrugations adjacent to them have cross-section of oval, their horizontal axis being located in plane of hose bend. Curvilinear spiral-shaped guides are provided in internal surface of spacing sleeve. Curvilinear helical grooves are cut in internal surface of smooth-walled sections of hose and upper bend of hose carries nipple for connection with pressure source.
