FIELD: plants for pneumatic classification of loose materials; applicable in mining, metallurgical, construction and other industries. SUBSTANCE: cascade pneumatic classifier includes separating shaft with transfer members made in the form of set of inclined parallel plates with free edges spaced at the same distance from side walls, branch pipe for supply of initial material, branch pipes for fine and coarse products, air introduction unit. Separating shaft is round in cross-section. Plates are of bent segmentoidal shape with springy spirals on their front surface. Branch pipe for supply of initial material is made in the form of overturned truncated cone with curved helical guides on internal surface and installed in upper part of separating shaft. Branch pipe of fine product is connected to air duct for air and fine product withdrawal from separating shaft and to pipeline for withdrawal of dust to atmosphere. Branch pipe of fine product is located below branch pipe of initial product supply at an angle of 45 deg to horizon. Units for introduction of air is made of flat flexible ring with holes and with expanding nozzle with internal curved helical grooves and connecting branch pipes, and located in lower part of separating shaft.
