FIELD: transport engineering; internal combustion engines. SUBSTANCE: method comes to creating runout and acceleration strokes by automatically acting onto fuel feed member. Said stroke are created within range of reduced speeds of crankshaft. Cutting in out of dynamic idling modes occur under action of signals from clutch pedal position pickup and gearshift lever pickup. Dynamic idling is set when clutch pedal is released and gearshift lever is in neutral position, and is cut out when pedal is pressed on and/or lever is shifted from neutral position into operating one. Proposed device to control operation of vehicle engine at dynamic contains vehicle internal combustion engine, speed setter, slave mechanism, dynamic idling control unit, speed setter position pickup and switch. Clutch pedal position contact pickup and gearshift lever pickup are electrically interconnected and connected with speed setter position pickup in series and are placed in control unit supply circuit. EFFECT: improved process of change-over of internal combustion engine mounted in vehicle from working condition to dynamic idling and back. 3 cl, 1 dwg
