SUBSTANCE: at the dynamic mode of autonomous idle run, operation of a motor and tractor diesel engine is carried out sequentially in alternating cycles consisting of free coasting cycles and acceleration cycles, by means of automatic displacement of a fuel supply control element in the area of reduced frequencies of crankshaft rotation accordingly towards full disconnection and subsequent connection of fuel supply at the level that ensures most efficient working process of the diesel engine. The acceleration cycle is carried out with permanent cyclic supply of fuel, which exceeds the cyclic supply of fuel at the typical mode of autonomous idle run by the ration of the time of autonomous idle run dynamic mode cycle to the time of acceleration cycle.

EFFECT: improved processes of fuel injection and carburetion during the acceleration cycle, and also more efficient working process of the diesel engine in the cycle of dynamic mode of autonomous idle run due to zero cyclic supply of fuel in the free coasting cycle.
